Bubbly: the lovely bubbles of bubbly; wonders and fantasies; colourful and witty; bright and very funny.
Did you know?
- "People living in Phoenix city sweat the most. If all citizens stay outdoor for an hour, the amount of sweat is enough to fill a Olympic size swimming pool."
- Mingpao news, June 19, 2006 - “Polar bears are not white, they're clear. Their transparent fur doesn't contain a white pigment, but the hair shafts house many time air bubbles, which scatter the sun's white light, and we register the spectacle as white fur."
- Ackerman, Diane, A Natural History of the Senses, New York: Random House, 1990, pp.260. - Leaves are, in fact, red and brown as we see them in fall. They only appear green during summer because of their chlorophyll. Trees stop producing chlorophyll in preparation for winter and that's why their leaves fades to masses of yellows, reds and browns.
- Ackerman, Diane, A Natural History of the Senses, New York: Random House, 1990, pp.257. - Butterflies and bowflies have their taste organs on their front feet. They taste by stepping their feet on the food to be tested. Imagine you stepping on your dinner and feel what it taste like!
- Sugar, fat, and some other foods, have the ability to stimulate endorphins - morphinelike painkillers produced by the brain - to calm our nerves and give us a sense of comfort. Time to grab a cookie!
